This is our Story Station. After I've read a text and we've studied it together I put the props and the text as well as this station so that students can practice retelling it if it's a fictional text. Here we have the three little pigs and of course we've got all the homes that were created by a dear friend of mine, as well as the pigs and the wolf, so students can retell the story. 

There are also speech bubbles here for those students who are inclined to utilize these. The text is featured here as well. On top of that there's a story glove, which reinforces a lot of the elements of a fictional text. So the children know that they're to review the characters, the setting, the problem in the story, the solution, their favorite part, and the theme or the author's message.
