I wear this microphone system because it can be a very busy environment and within my environment I want to make sure that each of my children is hearing clearly what I have to share with them. They may come from different backgrounds and perhaps English is not their first language. The microphone system allows me to annunciate sounds and words and be sure that each of my children is hearing clearly what each sound says within a word. 

The children are given an opportunity to use a microphone for themselves. They use this microphone to share stories with the children. I found that even a child who may be shy or introverted, once given this microphone, all of a sudden they are stimulated to tell their tales and share with all the other children.
